Wonderla's Q2: The Number Behind the Headline

Wonderla's Q2 results had a headline everyone covered: income up 42%, EBITDA up 90%.

The line I found more interesting was further down.

₹983Average ticket price, down 3%
₹510Non-ticket spend per guest, up 11%

Guests paid a little less to get in, and spent more once inside.

That's how a park should work. The gate gets people in. The day earns the money. Food, games, merchandise, lockers, photos. Each one is a decision the guest makes in the moment, and each one depends on the day being good enough to stay longer.

After a quarter like this, I'd ask 3 questions of any Indian park:

  • How long are guests staying? Spend follows dwell time.
  • Where is the extra spend coming from? F&B usually leads, but not always.
  • Is the lower ticket price building repeat visits, or just reflecting a different mix of guests?
Ticket price is the easiest number to move. Spend per guest is the one that tells you whether the park is working.

Figures are consolidated, for Q2 FY27 (quarter ended 30 September 2026), from Wonderla's results and earnings call. Source: ETTravelWorld.
